Partners in Art meets 10 times a year for educational events in museums, commercial galleries, private and public collections and artist studios.  The focus of the education is contemporary visual art and culture.  Every other year PIA runs a panel discussion on subjects that will help refine its strategic direction.  In addition to PIA members, the invited audience includes: leaders in Toronto’s art community and businesses, curators, artists, art students, media, government and PIA sponsors.  Previous topics have explored the essence of successful cultural collaborations and how to foster a dynamic arts community. PIA runs two education trips a year for its members, to cities such as Montreal, Chicago, Mexico City, Vancouver, Los Angeles and NYC.  These trips help  members put into context the larger international contemporary visual arts community and  provide ideas for future collaborative projects.
